Our STORY

Kristen

Born and raised in SoCal, the Sierra Nevadas and the Pacific Ocean. Leaving home to sail across the Pacific on the Captain Cook replica, HMS Bark Endeavour, she settled in New Zealand for 5 years before coming to Whidbey. Spending almost 10 years working with local government and non-profits on Whidbey gives her a unique edge over the average agent. She knows the programs and resources that will affect you as a homeowner and how to use them to your advantage. Becoming a top-producing real estate agent in her first couple of years turned into ownership and management of Windermere Whidbey Island for 7 years. A desire to work more closely with and be available for family led her & Stephen to develop Stavros Homes.

Stephen

Born and raised in Massachusetts Stephen spent 7 years in the Navy, mostly in Japan. He was lucky that his last duty station was Whidbey Island. After the Navy, he spent a few years in construction and the Planning Department at Island County, which led him to start a home inspection business. He ran Cedar Inspections for almost 10 years, specializing in high-end homes, older historic homes, and commercial properties. Stephen’s client list of top-producing brokers was sad to see him close his inspection business when he became a full-time Firefighter; their loss is your gain.
